Mulund (West), Mumbai – 17 September 2025:The spirit of faith, tradition, and community bonding was on full display as Navyuvak Mitra Mandal of Mulund (West) celebrated Dev Shilpi Vishwakarma Jayanti with grandeur and devotion every year. The occasion, dedicated to Lord Vishwakarma - revered as the divine architect and craftsman of the gods - drew enthusiastic participation from residents, devotees, and youth alike.

The celebrations began early in the morning with a ritualistic puja of Lord Vishwakarma, invoking blessings for prosperity, progress, and protection. Artisans, technicians, engineers, and workers across professions paid homage to the deity who symbolizes skill, creativity, and innovation. Tools and instruments were ceremonially worshipped, signifying gratitude for the livelihood they provide.

The Mandal, known in Mulund for its active cultural and social work, had meticulously arranged the event. The mandap was decorated with vibrant flowers, traditional motifs, and artistic rangolis, while devotional music and bhajans created an atmosphere of reverence.

Local youth volunteers from Navyuvak Mitra Mandal played a key role in organizing the program. “Our aim is not only to uphold tradition but also to bring people together. Vishwakarma Jayanti reminds us of the dignity of labor and the value of skill in society,” said Umashankar Sharma (President of Mandal).

The highlight of the celebration was a community aarti followed by prasad distribution, which saw participation cutting across age groups. Residents praised the Mandal for maintaining cultural continuity while ensuring discipline and inclusivity in the festivities.

Beyond festivals, Navyuvak Mitra Mandal is equally committed to social causes. The group regularly encourages and supports the children of its members in pursuing education, while also extending medical help to needy families within the community. These initiatives have earned the Mandal respect and goodwill across Mulund and beyond.

Several dignitaries and respected community members also visited the venue to extend their greetings. The event concluded on a note of harmony, with the pledge to carry forward the message of Lord Vishwakarma - honouring work, skill, and innovation - into everyday life.

मुलुंड (पश्चिम), मुंबई – 17 सितम्बर 2025:श्रद्धा, परंपरा और सामुदायिक एकता का अद्भुत संगम उस समय देखने को मिला जब नवयुवक मित्र मंडल ने मुलुंड (पश्चिम) में विश्वकर्मा जयंती का भव्य आयोजन किया। देवताओं के दिव्य वास्तुकार और शिल्पकार भगवान विश्वकर्मा को समर्पित यह पर्व स्थानीय निवासियों, श्रद्धालुओं और युवाओं की उत्साही भागीदारी का साक्षी बना।

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत सुबह-सुबह हुई भगवान विश्वकर्मा की विधिवत पूजा से, जिसमें समृद्धि, प्रगति और सुरक्षा का आशीर्वाद मांगा गया। कारीगरों, तकनीशियनों, इंजीनियरों और विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के श्रमिकों ने अपने औजारों और उपकरणों की पूजा कर उनके प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त की। यह परंपरा श्रम की गरिमा और कौशल के महत्व को दर्शाती है।

मंडल, जो मुलुंड में अपने सांस्कृतिक और सामाजिक कार्यों के लिए जाना जाता है, ने आयोजन की सभी तैयारियाँ बड़े ही सलीके से कीं। मंडप को फूलों, पारंपरिक डिजाइनों और रंगोली से सजाया गया, वहीं भजन और भक्तिमय संगीत ने वातावरण को और भी आध्यात्मिक बना दिया।

नवयुवक मित्र मंडल के युवा स्वयंसेवकों ने आयोजन को सफल बनाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। एक समिति सदस्य ने कहा, “हमारा उद्देश्य केवल परंपरा को निभाना ही नहीं, बल्कि लोगों को जोड़ना भी है। विश्वकर्मा जयंती हमें श्रम की गरिमा और समाज में कौशल के मूल्य की याद दिलाती है।”

कार्यक्रम का मुख्य आकर्षण रहा सामूहिक आरती और प्रसाद वितरण, जिसमें सभी आयु वर्ग के लोगों ने भाग लिया। स्थानीय निवासियों ने मंडल की सराहना की कि उन्होंने अनुशासन और समावेशिता बनाए रखते हुए परंपरा को जीवंत रखा।

त्योहारों के अलावा, नवयुवक मित्र मंडल सामाजिक सरोकारों के प्रति भी उतना ही समर्पित है। मंडल अपने सदस्यों के बच्चों को शिक्षा प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करता है और जरूरतमंद परिवारों को चिकित्सा सहायता भी प्रदान करता है। इन पहलुओं ने मंडल को पूरे मुलुंड में सम्मान और विश्वास दिलाया है।

कई गणमान्य व्यक्तियों और समुदाय के वरिष्ठ सदस्यों ने भी स्थल पर पहुँचकर शुभकामनाएँ दीं। कार्यक्रम का समापन सद्भाव और एकता के साथ हुआ, जिसमें यह संकल्प लिया गया कि भगवान विश्वकर्मा के संदेश – श्रम, कौशल और नवाचार के सम्मान – को दैनिक जीवन में आत्मसात किया जाएगा।
