Security company director receives death threat in Mulund; Shocking incident captured on CCTV

The law and order situation in Mumbai’s Mulund (West) area has come under the spotlight following a shocking incident. The director of a prominent security firm was issued a death threat by unidentified individuals at a business site, sparking concerns across the locality. Mr. Vitthal Anand Satpute, Director of 'Force Security Services,' has filed an official complaint regarding the matter at the Mulund Police Station.

The Incident

According to the details provided, Vitthal Satpute’s firm provides security personnel to the 'Gabriel Company,' located opposite the ESIC (Kamgar) Hospital on LBS Marg. On February 7, 2026, at approximately 11:40 AM, a group of four to five unidentified men arrived at the main gate of the Gabriel Company.

The group confronted Rohidas Patekar, a security bouncer on duty, and specifically named Vitthal Satpute while issuing an open threat to kill him. Furthermore, the individuals used extremely abusive language and attempted to create an atmosphere of terror before fleeing the scene.

Crucial Leads in CCTV Footage

The entire episode has been captured by the CCTV cameras installed on the company premises. The faces and body language of the suspects are clearly visible in the recordings. Mr. Satpute has submitted these photos and video clips as evidence to the police to assist in identifying the perpetrators.

Police Investigation Underway

"It is imperative to investigate who these unidentified individuals were and why they dared to issue such a threat in broad daylight. We urge the authorities to take serious note of this matter and initiate strict legal action," stated Vitthal Satpute in his complaint.

The Mulund Police have officially acknowledged the complaint (dated February 11, 2026) and have launched an inquiry. This incident has raised serious questions regarding the safety of entrepreneurs and business owners in the city’s industrial hubs.
