In a major initiative to address pressing legal concerns faced by tenants and residents of Pagdi buildings and societies, the Shree Kutchi Advocates Welfare Association organized a well-attended seminar today at Jivraj Bhanji Hall, Ashok Nagar, near Mehul Talkies, Mulund West.

The event, held between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM, saw an impressive turnout with over 350 participants from across Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The seminar focused on critical issues such as the rights of tenants, challenges in redevelopment projects, and practical legal remedies for society residents.

The distinguished Chief Guest for the occasion, Shri Hiralalbhai Mrug, was warmly welcomed by the association’s office bearers — Adv. Anil L. Shah (President), Adv. Jayesh K. Nishar (Vice President), Adv. Piyush M. Shah (Secretary), Adv. Mittal S. Chheda (Jr. Secretary), and Adv. Kalpesh S. Gosar (Treasurer).

In his keynote address, Shri Mrug emphasized the need for greater awareness among tenants regarding their legal rights and the importance of clear agreements in redevelopment projects. He lauded the Association's efforts in organizing the seminar, calling it "a much-needed step towards empowering the public with knowledge and legal support."

Experienced advocates shared valuable insights on various aspects of tenant protection, redevelopment procedures, dispute resolution mechanisms, and important legal precedents. The sessions were interactive, with the audience actively participating in a lively Q&A session.
